On the Performance of Spatial Modulation Mimo

چکیده
In this paper, we investigate, for the first time, the performance of a fullduplex (FD) relaying protocol, where a single-RF Spatial Modulation (SM) Multiple-Input MultipleOutput (MIMO) system is employed at the relay node. We refer to this protocol as SM-aided FD relaying (SM-FDR). At the destination, a demodulator that takes advantage of the direct connectivity between the source and destination is developed in order to maximize its performance. Based on this demodulator, we introduce a mathematical framework for computing the average error-probability of SM-FDR in the presence of residual Self-Interference (SI).

Abstract The effect of IQ imbalance on adaptive MQAM modulation in MIMO systems with direct conversion receivers is investigated in this paper. A continues power, discrete rate adaptive modulation scheme in using MIMO system with perfect channel information in both transmitter and receiver is considered. The selected adaptation mechanism changes the transmit power and transmit constellation s...
متن کاملOn the Performance of Spatial Modulation for MIMO Communication
ABSTRACT– Spatial Modulation (SM) provides many advantages when compared to other conventional Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) schemes in which multiple antenna transmit simultaneously. In SM only one antenna will be active during data transmission. This completely eliminates Inter Channel Interference (ICI) and reduces decoding complexity. In other coding techniques coding and modulation...
متن کاملPerformance of Imaging Receivers using Convex Lens in Indoor MIMO VLC Systems
In multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) indoor visible light communication (VLC) systems that employ nonimaging receivers, the bit error performance is degraded due to high spatial correlation. Imaging receivers can mitigate this degradation by concentrating the light energy, thereby reducing the correlation among the elements in the channel matrix. In this paper, we investigate the performanc...
متن کاملSpatial Modulation Based MIMO-OSDM for 4G Wireless Systems under Rayleigh Fading Channel
Because of the enormous capacity upsurge a MIMO systems offer, such systems gained a lot of interest in mobile communication research. One indispensable problem of the wireless channel is fading, which occurs as the signal follows multiple paths between transmitter and receiver antennas. Fading can be mitigated by diversity, which means that the information is transmitted not only once but seve...
متن کاملPerformance Analysis of MIMO-OFDM by Spatial
The main aim of OFDM-MIMO systems is to combine OFDM technology with the techniques of MIMO systems. The growing demand of multimedia services and the growth of Internet related contents lead to increasing interest to high speed communications. OFDM is a type of multichannel modulation that divides a given channel into many parallel sub channels or subcarriers, so that multiple symbols are sent...
متن کاملPerformance Analysis and Optimal Detection of Spatial Modulation
In this paper, we propose the optimal detector for spatial modulation. The new detector performs significant better than the original (~4 dB gain), and we derive the closed form expression for the average bit error probability. The optimal detector of SM shows performance gain (~1.5 −3 dB) over popular multiple antenna system, making it an excellent prospect for future wireless communication. K...
